Ambulance 3-19-1 was dispatched at 0905 hrs for a class 1 auto accident with reported entrapment on Red Run Road. Station 3-14 (Fivepointville), Rescue 3-9 (New Holland), and Medic 4 (Ephrata Hospital) were also dispatched. Ambulance 3-19-1 arrived first at 0913 hrs to find a vehicle overturned blocking both lanes of traffic with one occupant confined. Ambulance 3-19-1 personnel assisted the fire and rescue companies to get the patient out of the vehicle. Ambulance 3-19-1 and Medic 4 transported the patient to a local hospital. While Ambulance 3-19-1 was on this call Ambulance 3-19-2 handled two calls for service for a total of 5 calls for the day.
