September 22 2009

On the evening of September 22, Ambulance 3-19-1 and Ambulance 3-19-2 made their way to Lauschtown road for a reported accident with multiple injuries and entrapment. The officers of the Fivepointville Fire Company had set up a two vehicle accident with several people injured and some trapped in a vehicle to be used as a drill. The members of the Fivepointville Ambulance had a chance to work together with other agencies to rescue people from cars and practice what would need to be done in a real life situation. Assisted with the drill were Denver Rescue, Fivepointville Fire company, and Medic 4 from Ephrata Hospital.
