At 4:24 pm Ambulance 3-19-1 was dispatched to assist the Bowmansville Fire Company (3-3) with a brush fire in the 1400 block of Hilltop Road. Deputy 3-3 arrived and advised of 3-5 acres of woods on fire. Due to the high heat of the day Deputy 3-3 requested EMS for rehab. Ambulance 3-19-1 arrived and set up a rehab station while firefighters from Bowmansville, Fivepointville, Terre Hill, Adamstown, Churchtown, and Cedar Top Fire Company from Berks County contained the fire. Ambulance 3-19-1 was released by Command 3-3 and went available at 6:26 pm with no injuries reported.
