In the early hours on this icy morning, Ambulance 3-19-1 was dispatched with Medic 4 and Station 3-14 Fire Department to the 1500 Block of Route 897. A caller had reported a vehicle accident in which the the vehicle had flipped over.

At 07:31, Ambulance 3-19-1 was the first unit to arrive on the scene. The vehicle was off thee road several yards, and the driver was walking around the scene and walked to the ambulance. Our crew began assessing the patient, and advised Engine 3-14 of the scene. Luckily the driver was wearing her seatbelt. The patient did not require transport to the hospital, and waited for a friend to arrive. However, the car did require towing.
