At 11:38 am Ambulance 3-19-1 was dispatched along with Ambulance 3-19-2, Ambulance 1-7 (Reamstown), Medic 9 (Ephrata Hospital), Station 3-3 (Bowmansville), Rescue 3-9 (New Holland) for an accident with reported entrapment. Chief 3-3 (Musser) arrived onscene and advised of a two vehicle accident with two trapped in an overturned mini van. One pt had a leg stuck under the van. Ambulance 3-19-1 arrived onscene and started triage and patient care. Ambulance 3-9 (New Holland) and Medic 4 (Ephrata Hospital) were also dispatched to assist due to the number of patients that needed assistance. Rescue 3-9 crews arrived and assisted Engine 3-3-1 with the removal of the roof and with using air bags to lift the vehicle off the patient. All patients were transported to local hospitals for evaluation.
