Fivepointville Ambulance participated in mock vehicle accident drill along with Station 3-3 (Bowmansville) and Rescue 3-9 (New Holland). Deputy 3-3 (Good) of the Bowmansville Fire Company set up a simulated two vehicle accident with one car rolled over an embankment with multiple people injured and trapped. The Fivepointville Ambulance Service had a total of 12 members participate in the drill. Bowmansville Fire Company and the New Holland Fire Company had to use rescue tools to dismantle parts of the vehicles to get the patients out. Drills like this allow everyone involved to continue to practice their skills and build up teamwork between the different emergency services for when a real emergency strikes. We would like to thank the Bowmansville Fire Company for including us in this valuable training scenario.
