On the evening of April 17 2010 the members of the Fivepointville Ambulance Service gathered together for a night of rest and fellowship. The members were joined by officers of neighboring fire companies and township supervisor Garth Wise. The members were served a wonderful dinner by the staff of Yoder’s Restaurant and were then entertained by comedian Gordon Douglas. Several members were recognized with awards. They were:

Volunteer of the year: Lisa Nordstrom

Driver of the year: Shannon Martin

Crew Chief of the year: Don Kilheffer

One special award was given out to Marty Weaver. Marty helped start the Fivepointville Ambulance in 1960 and was recognized for 50 years of service.

The members and officers would like to thank the banquet committee for putting together a wonderful evening. We would also like to thank the neighboring companies and township supervisors for supporting us year after year.

A Special thank you goes to Reinholds Ambulance for standing by at our station so our members could have a few hours off.
