| On April 12 2008 the Fivepointville
Ambulance Association held an appreciation banquet for the
members and staff of the service. We had a fun filled night of
food, fellowship, and laughter. The banquet was held at Yoders
banquet facility and was organized by the ladies of the
association. Several awards were given out again this year. Lisa
Nordstrom received volunteer of the year, Bruce Byram received
driver of the year, and Donnie Martin received crew chief of the
year. The event was attended by Brecknock township supervisors,
State representative Gordon Denlinger, and by officers of
neighboring fire companies. The officers of the Fivepointville
Ambulance would like to thank all our neighbors fire companies,
ambulance services, and government agencies that made 2007 a
great year for us. Entertainment was provided by Ryan and
Friends. Area businesses donated door prizes and all members and
guests had plenty to choose from. Special thank you goes to Reinholds Ambulance who provided a stand by crew so our members could have a night to relax.
